This edition, which takes place from 3 to 5 July, will be the largest since the end of the covid-19 pandemic, according to the organizers, Messe Frankfurt France. “This edition opens with a lot of energy and enthusiasm from both exhibitors and visitors,” says Frédéric Bougeard, President of Messe Frankfurt France.
“We have just completed the first half of the year in which production has not been affected by health restrictions since 2019. This revived dynamism within the main textile-producing regions has had positive impacts on our textile and clothing fairs: the July edition is full and we already have a long waiting list for February 2024,” he stresses.
In its 25th anniversary year, Texworld Paris, dedicated to textiles, is expected to be attended by around 750 exhibitors, with a strong participation of companies from China, Turkey. South Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand and Uzbekistan.
Apparel Sourcing Paris, meanwhile, will feature 500 apparel and accessories producers from 12 countries, including emerging sourcing markets such as Cambodia, Egypt and Myanmar – the latter country has not been represented since 2019, but this edition will have five companies. For the first time, Messe Frankfurt France reveals, more than a dozen Turkish exhibitors will be gathered in a national pavilion organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO). There is also space for the “Chinese Brands” area, which will bring together Chinese producers with their own brand, or private label, targeting Europe.
